Por segundo año volví a desarrollar el póster para el festival Lollapalooza.
Esta vez, mi inspiración partió desde los principios del festival que
promueve la conciencia ecológica, y el cuidado por el medio ambiente.
Empezé por caracterizar animales, los cuales son nombres de bandas del festival, tal como Arctic Monkeys, Cage The Elephant, Band of Horses.
Integré otros como Foo Fighters, Systema Solar, Friendly Fires, Peaches,
Silvestre, Adanowsky, y por supuesto Björk con su inolvidable vestido. Tambien incluí el Huemul y Cóndor, animales de nuestro escudo nacional y en peligro de
extinción. Las flores de copihue es nuestra flor nacional chilena. El
mono "Tio Sam" alude a la influencia cultural gringa.
I did the Lollapalooza poster again for the second year in a row. This time my inspiration came from the begginings of the festival that promotes ecological conciousness and caring about the enviroment. I started by characterizing animals, which are names of the bands from the line up, such as Arctic Monkeys, Cage The Elephant, Band of Horses. Then i added some others like Foo Fighters, Systema Solar, Friendly Fires, Peaches, Silvestry, Adanowsky, and of course Björk, with her unforgettable dress! On the sides I´ve incorporated the Huemul (deer) and the
Andean Condor, native animals of our national shield and in danger of
extinction. The copihue flower is our national chilean flower . The monkey "Uncle Sam" alludes to the north american cultural influence.
